The Rural Community Transportation Brochure was made possible by a partnership between NROCRC’s (Nepean, Rideau, Osgoode Community Resources Centre) Rural CDF (Community Development Framework) project and the Osgoode Youth Associations (O-YA) Youth Advisory Council.
NROCRC’s Rural CDF project has been led by local resident Carley Scharf since 2017. Some of the accomplishments of this project have include receiving the Rural Community Building Grant funding for Christmas in the Village 2017, and liaisons between local groups. The CDF project has also been working closely with the Osgoode Village Community Association and is responsible for the creation of O-YA’s Youth Advisory Council who have been responsible for the mural at Vibration Studios, the 2018 block party, the haunted orchard, this brochure and many other local projects in the village.
